I think in these recent years, humans especially in the developed countries beginning to be conscious about their health. Hence more people are exercising and doing workouts such as going to the gym, running, cycling etc.

So, when people exercise more, their metabolism is higher and on top of that respiration also went higher resulting in an increase of CO2 emission from their lung.

If humans all relaxed and keep their metabolism low, therefore they exhale less, the world will face less Co2 emission. Remember, apart from industries, forest fires, we, humans billions of us also exhale carbon dioxide!!!
