I took this class last year (NSA) you must be really desperate not to work because I can see your asking every question from Bio200, which i took last year and Eng300, which im taking this year. It must take you more time to write this out than just go to the text book or whatever and just find out the answer. Im pretty sure reasking the question here counts as cheating, but you can do whatever you want...

1) provide a rigid structure to support muscles
2) provides protection of internal organs
3) endoskeletons tend to allow vertebrates to achieve enormous sizes - just look at the Dinosaurs vs the insects.

Yes, I know that during the Carboniferous era that insects were gigantic, but not as gigantic as the Dinosaurs!
