Batman is copied protected?

I copy Batman with my DVD software. The folder plays on my computer. But not on my DVD player. Is this movie copy protected?

Yes, i beleive it is...though there are ways around it and I have no clue as to how to do it, why not just buy a copy of it and call it good?
