Pardon the spelling. My partner works for the German National Bank in Austria and is spiritually troubled about the activities within it. Share prices depending on death in the streets etc.

It's a BANK! If he has moral problems, he shouldn't be working for a bank.

How does the fact that share prices depend on death on the streets make Deutche bank dishonest? It doesn't.

Secondly the bank is not the cause of the death on the street, so how can your partner be spiritually troubled by it? Surely it would be better for your partner to look at the root causes of the violence, such as drug trafiking and poverty, rather than the activities of a bank in the area.

Spiritual Ethics and financial practice have always clashed. I used to work in the arms manufacture industry and as a pacifist it was troubling me. I did not want to lose my job. I found the protection of my trade union to put my views to the top where it mattered made my point and kept my job. Perhaps your partner can do something similar.

I have to agree with the other answerer, banks aren't places for people with morals
