how do manually clean a cache?

For internet explorer 7
Control Panel>Internet Options>General>Browsing history>Delete. Select which one you want to delete or select "Delete all..."

For Mozilla Firefox
Tools>Options>Privacy>Clear Now.
Check or clear items according to what you want to delete, then press "Clear Private Data Now"

To delete "Temp" files
For windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings\Your (User) Folder\Local Settings\Temp

For Windows Vista
C:\Users\Your (User) Folder\AppData\Local
