There is a daily flight from Malaga Airport (AGP) to Alicante Int'l Airport (ALC) as the answerer above has mentioned. The scheduled flight time will vary from 1 hour to 1 hour & 20 minutes depending on the day of your travel.

Iberia flight IB8803 (flight operated by Air Nostrum - Regional jet) has a flight time of 1 hour and they operate on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

For Tuesday & Thursday schedule (March)
IB8803 departs Malaga at 12:25 and arrives in Alicante at 13:25.

For Saturday schedule (March)
IB8803 departs AGP at 16:10 and arrives in ALC at 17:10.

For Sunday schedule (March)
IB8803 departs AGP at 18:00 and arrives in ALC at 19:00.

For Monday, Wednesday and Friday schedule (March), Air Nostrum or Denim Air operates IB8803 on behalf of Iberia airlines. The flight time is 1 hour and 20 minutes because the route is operated by turboprop aircraft on these days. IB8803 departs at 19:25 from AGP and arrives in ALC at 20:45.

The actual flight time will depend on the winds, speed of the aircraft and the actual route the aircraft flies.

Iberia has a daily direct fly from Málaga to Alicante.

Nevertheless the distance is not too big: 473 kilometers, it's approximately a 5 hour drive (highway).

Previous answer by Barmy is right, internal flights are very expensive. The drive is a long one but the toll roads are great and it would be much cheaper than flying, you could make a trip out of it.

It's not a long distance. I don't know if there are direct flights, but anyway I wouldn't take a plane, rather go by car or if you don't own one, take a bus or rail.

You probably can but from what I have seen of internal flights, they are pricey, better to drive its about 7 hours
