Sister is going out with an adversary?

Let’s say you have a sibling—a sister who has a boyfriend who is your enemy or who you have had a history with. What should you do? Do you become angry and try to breakup with the relationship sine you he is your adversary? Should you just try to be friends with him?

Look at it as an opportunity to turn him from an adversary to a friend. Give him the benefit of the doubt; if he really likes your sister, he'll probably be cool to you.

I dunno, just be polite you don't have to be friends. Just let her do whatever you want. She won't listen to you if you try to break it up.

She could pick him over u so you might as well just bite the bullet and wait till she sees what a dick he is. You can't convince girls their bf's are trash. I tried and it just doesnt work. You have to let it play out and let her find out what she wants. I know how you feel. I'm just polite to my sister bf but I don't like him i think he's a ****** and most guys do think that of their sis bf. I dont think he's good enough or anything. But she does so I'll just let he figure it out even if she's a bubblehead and totally stupid.

I don't want to make her feel like she has to choose it's not fair.

i think u need not be enemies nor friends cauz he is ur sis's boy friend. so just maintain a safe relation ship with him that's it. cauz u need not change ur feelings or change ur self just cauz someone is something to ur sis or anyother family member
