You get a tan,to protect your skin from burning.
There is less pigment in your palms,so it will not be easy to get them tanned either,

because the palms burn they do not tan because of the different pigment cells on the surface and due to the amount of muscle fib res in ones hand.

Well next time you tan make sure you palms are face up.
