my voice is very loud and it's from my birth. I never had any problem with that nor my friends and family. However these days I'm having problems with that specially at my work place. If i talk normally also some people think i'm shouting at them and get upset about it.

what should i do?

Have a hearing test done to rule out any problems which make you louder, but I feel you may just have a naturally loud voice. Just try and modify your tone in certain circumstances when you feel it may offend.

My voice is loud from birth. This is not from hearing loss. This is the way some of us are born. Is there any medical terminology for this condition? It is very frustrating to be misunderstood your entire life with people constantly telling you to stop yelling at them when you are not. Early in childhood, I remember being shushed by parents and other adults all the time and ending up feeling ashamed for no reason. I recently lost my job becasue other employees kept complaining that I was yelling at them. I would never do that, but for this misunderstanding, I lost my job. This was the only thing on an otherwise exemplary record.

What can you do? And I don't think you should try to do anything.
Your voice is part of you and people should understand that you just have a loud voice.
If they can't accept that, then the problem is theirs.

Go and have your hearing tested............. It could be that you have a problem that you have not realised about. But if you have realised that there is a problem surely you can actually try and tone your voice down a little?

Perhaps you have a hearing problem, most people who talk loud are a little deaf.

i am the same, it can be embarrasing. I try to speak in a lower tone of voice and it is not as loud.

Have your hearing tested, often people who have hearing problems are unaware that they shout.
