Probably the most expensive was a years supply of two comics for drawing a picture in a competition on a lolly wrapper.
But the greatest satisfaction was when I started beating my father at draughts (checkers in USA). He gave us children loose change, and won it back by playing 1p to 20p, when I started winning, he kept playing me at the same odds, until he lost a lot. After that he refused to play draughts with me again, because I was better at it than him. He hated me exchanging one for one, when I had more pieces than him, he thought it was dirty play.

So much hard work and huge amounts of personal time have been invested and we have been shortlisted and I am well chuffed
What would I really like given a wish - Win a BAFTA or OSCAR for Best Screenplay. But I will not be greedy and would be happy to accept one of them

My hubby bought me a lottery ticket for my birthday. We were really skint at the time.
I laughed when he gave it to me.
It won £10 and I bought a pair of second hand ice skates with it which meant I could take the kids skating. All for a £1 piece of paper !
