Hey i 16 years old now and i started my period eight months ago and haven't had another period since. so i have only had ONE period in eight months. Is this normal an should i be worried?

When I first got my period, I didn't get it for another 6 months then I didn't get it for another 2 months after that. I don't think it's odd... I don't think you should be too worried

yes..it is common that your period is irregular in the beginning stages. But, go to your doc and have him check you. Some girls that are very athletic will often have irregular periods.

It can take time for the periods to regulate themselves but to be on the safe side I would talk to your dr to see what they think and to make sure nothing more serious is going on.

I suggest you go to the doctor. Those could be signs of PCOS, or irregular ovulation.

I'm almost positive its not.By any chance are you anorexic?If so that is why.See your doctor and talk about it.
