I am a muslim living in Johannesburg,South Africa. I have found that non muslim relationships that i hve been in are much better than the muslim guys i know. No offence to the muslim guys but i guess i have not found the one yet.

I & my uncle have nothing wrong with me having a relationship with a non muslim guy or maybe even marrying one but the thing is that my dad is on the conservative side of life & may not be to happy with it.

Am i just been weird or overthinking this. I have been questioned alot about when i am gonna get married & so fourth.

I just wanted to know different people & different opinions on what people think & comment.

Thanks

i dont think it really matters love is the most important thing and geting some one who will treat you right marriage should be more then spending your life with some one. its making that person a part of you.

No need for over thinking now. When the time comes to defend the man you love , you will know exactly what to do and what to say to your father. In the other hand, maybe a right Muslim guy appears some day in your life .

Inter-marriage is not a big deal if you really love each other. My husband and I have different religion...he's a Buddhist and I'm a Catholic...there's no pressure in our relationship because we respect each other's religious belief & never force anyone to convert to another's religion. We've been married for a long time & we've got 3 kids...regarding my kids religion- they were baptized as Catholics, practising Buddhism ...and they are free to choose what religion they want as long they can find peace & happiness. Good luck to you. I hope your father will understand your situation.

You need to fear Allah why would you want to marry a kafir a disbeliever in Islam. May Allah increase your Faith and may he guide you. Amin. If you marry a non muslim he is not going to remind you of your deen. You sound young If you wanted to come to America maybe my husband would marry you. But he would not marry you if you are not serious about worshiping Allah.

In Islam, isn't it wrong to marry outside your beliefs? I am sure I have read that somewhere
