B'coz in these days people are so busy now a days and live a life full of tensions, These shows make them laugh at least.

Laughter shows are becoming more popular on televisions because in today's changing world one wants some time for refreshment and this he can get from laughing freely and laughter shows enables us to laugh.

Well, it just goes to show, there are so many people living with stress these days because they dont even have time to give to themselves and are always at home with their families or loved ones.
These laughter shows are just a way of relaesing these stresses or tensions they might have.
It may also go to show that many people can't afford to go out of their homes and spend money on other things and so they stay at home.
Other than that people might be tired of the same old programmes being shown and just want a change.

Laughter is the best medicine. World has become very serious now-a-days and most of other TV shows have become boring.
We get more oxygen thro' Laughter.

laughter shows are more popular b'coz people are getting bored with these mega serials going on every channel and every serial has the same old stories. today everyone want to be entertained with something different so change their minds, tomorrow something new will be there and again people will change their minds. Hope this helps don't take it seriously it is my point of view & I think its true.

in this routine mechanical life style of the present days may be we r too busy to find time relax and laugh from our hearts often. it is the plastic smiles that have become a habit of all of us becasue of the pressures of life?
hence we find solace in the laughter shows and have a hearty laugh...and it is relaxing to the psyche as laughing is always good for health.
so keep smiling/laughing ...bcz it is still tax free...!

Because everyone likes to a laugh and these shows do that for us. We are stressed enough at work or school that when we get home we want to laugh and relax.

because they are different. all the channels have serials of same old stories or shows of same type. even if there are laughter shows on every channel, the jokes cant be the same. once a joke is cracked, it becomes mega popular. repeated jokes doom the channels.
