Absolutely. However, the stipulation to receive the money should be that you have to collect in person, within eight hours after the person is incarcerated or the monies will be forfeited for failing to appear. With booking and all, it should work out well.

No he is a criminal, he should be locked in jail forever and he should be made to feel the pain that he caused to his victims.

They do the crime, then they should do the time and face the punishment.
