You need to go ahead and call your obgyn and the doctor on call will call you back. You can do this 24 hrs/ 7 days. The doctor told me that it's not much of a concern unless it is bright red like fresh blood .Still no matter what make the call. Don't wait until Monday because you will worry yourself sick until then and that's along time away when you are concerned about your baby. I'd say to lie down as much as possible on your left side of course and drink fluids. I was always dehydrated when something wasn't right. I'll bet Baby is fine. Say a prayer and make that call.

No it's not. It could be that you are having a very early "show", and that has to be investigated. however, on one of my babies, my second, I had a continous browny discharge from 28 weeks on; no doctor could explain what it was, but I went full term with no complications anyway.
You could also be having the first signs of a detatched placenta; and this is very serious; I would urge you to ring the maternity unit now.

hi just go straight to your local maternity hospital and have it check out ringing the Doctor or midwife will do no good as they will say come to the hospital right away to have it check they can,t answer your concerns on the phone they need to monitor the baby and scan you to see if alls well so just go straight there asap to set your mind at rest anyway, because all you will be doing is worrying about it, i have had 5 children so i have a bit of knowledge in that department good luck and please let us know how you got on

i would go into hospital & have it checked just to be on the safe side...i had bleeding(more red than brown) with my last pregnancy at just under 7 months...i sat around for hours wondering what to do until i phoned the NHS line & was told to go straight to hospital,i found out that i had a low placenta and it was tearing, this can be very dangerous for you (in my case not dangerous for baby) anyway it was a case of staying in hospital, lots of bed rest to see if the bleeding stopped, mine didnt so baby was delivered at 34 weeks.... it could be some or nothing but get it checked even if it's just to put your mind at rest.... good luck xxx

I'm not too sure about that but i would give your midwife a quick ring and see what she says. If you live in the UK then you can ring NHS Direct on 08454647 and they would be able to give you advice on this.
I did bleed on and off during my second pregnancy and they didn't know why, i went for scans the lot but nothing. It could be nothing but i would ring some one for advice.
Good luck

not really. There will be a midwife on 24hrs at the maternity unit I would ring for advice.
Brown blood is old red is new. Have sexual intercourse can cause a little bleeding but I would check to be on the safe side.

I would make an appointment with your OBGYN on Monday. It could be nothing more than stress, but its better to be safe. Don't let the goofs answering your question tell you otherwise. You will regret it if you don't get it checked out, and something goes wrong. Don't second guess yourself, you are obviously concerned.

I you have any concerns at all during pregnancy, you should see your doctor (and document/diarise it). I had to spend a week in hospital which was the result of a minor concern I had when I was pregnant.
