call your doctor or early pregnancy unit for advice asap. I understand that it worrying for you but you need to make sure that all is ok with you and your unborn baby. The hospital may ask you in for an ultrasound scan. good luck

Can never be too confident about these pains. It is probably nothing, but if it is, you'd never forgive yourself for having done nothing about it.
Have a scan and have faith - early pregnancy creates all sorts of funny feelings - most of them are never anything substantial.

Oh you'l be fine, pains are normal when first pregnant i still get them now and im 5 months this is my 3rd pregnancy. WHen i was almost 30 weeks with my second i had pains all through out the night, but my baby was fine. Dont worry about pains there normal, If pain is really bad and you cant cope with pain then theres something to worry about.

Hi the first thing you must do is calm down, you're pregnant and you're body has to get used to the idea as well as you're head, you will feel lots of niggle pains, things are changing in you're body, just for you're own piece of mind go to the doctors or a drop in clinic and talk to someone for reassurance, and maybe a check up, but try to relax and enjoy the whole pregnant experience, it's a wonderful time, relax and enjoy!

the best think to do is relax, getting stressed out and worrying about things will not help you or the baby. think of the positive things, youve got a baby inside you so your body is starting to change in many ways. im now 6months pregnant and remember worrying a lot about similar symptoms, its natural to do so but its best to stay calm and look forward to the scan and hearing your babys heartbeat for the first time because its an amazing feeling to see/hear your baby for the first time. good luck xxx

i had the same thing and you find you cant pin point the pain but its low down in your stomach. These pains are your body getting use to the baby. your body is actually trying to fight the baby like its the flu but dont worry your body is fighting a losing battle. If you cant shake the worried feeling go to the docs dont feel silly its what they are there 4 and if it is nothing they aint have seen before

Hi, i know exactly what your going threw, I'm also 6 weeks pregnant and I've got all sorts of pains, sharp pains low down, they come and go i also have lower back ache, Everyone keeps telling me its normal, I've also rang my GP twice! she also said its normal. Try not to worry to much, think to yourself its your baby growing and that's a good thing. If your following a healthy life style there is nothing you can do to cause a miscarriage its out of our control. Good luck with your pregnancy I'm sure we will have beautiful healthy babies x

You need to ring the doctors or midwife. If you live in the UK then NHS Direct on 08454647 straight away and see what advice they can give you now. Any pain should be see to while you are pregnant. Please, please ring someone asap. Even ring your surgery and get the emergency number as this needs to be seen to. I'm not trying to frighten you but you should not be having pains like that.
I really hope all goes well with you and baby.
