Pah,get real, girl!! If a boyfriend is SO attracted to a girl that he thinks of her even when she's away, and that he finds a mere picture so attractive that it gets him so aroused, that's about the biggest compliment you can get from a guy!!!
Your friend is right in being flattered.
Just what exactly is here to be disgusted? Are you some hypocritical goodie two shoes who is ashamed of her own body and sexuality?
Get used to it, guys do masturbate. Every day. Sometimes several times per day.
If you get a BF who actually thinks of you when he wanks off, you can count yourself as extremely lucky. Or would you rather see he thought of some singer, movie star... or your best friend?

A picture, no — I can't visualize that without recoiling in disgust. Now if he were thinking about me, that would be slightly different, depending on the guy. If he's the guy I've wanked to several times, I wouldn't mind at all.

One of my friends told me that he jerks off looking at me on webcam all the time. I was grossed out at first, and then I was a little bit flattered, but now I just think it's annoying. He's on the internet, he should be looking up porn like a normal guy!

If a guy you're not involved with tells you he wanking to photos of you, then that's just disgusting and creepy. If a guy you're in a relationship with tells you that he does that when he can't be with you, it's flattering and a definite plus!

I think if it is her boyfriend doing the wanking to her picture and not someone's elses, she should be flattered, would she rather him do it to someone else's? If he does it someone's elses i would be disgusted and angry... but that's just me. I would rather my bf thinking of ME when he does anything like that, because guys are just always going to do that.

I totally agree with your friend. If he does that then he finds you hot. Would you rather have him look at your picture and throw up? Men are very visually stimulated and they all "**** off" (as do us women). Could it be that maybe you're a bit jealous that nobody's looking at picture of you when they do that?

I'm a guy and YES i had to look. I've never done this, but umm I think it can be taken both ways. Either the guy is really shy about trying to get with the girl or she's so hawt that guys just can't resist.
