i have to tell the father of my baby i'm pregnant.
he is a good buddy of mine and we just slipped up one night.
he's about to go into the navy he leaves this mnth.
will be gone for 8 months.
what should i say to him that is kinda humuorous??
i know he'll support me we do love each other.

Just tell him if you cant face him write it out. Writing is a good way to express everything you need to say without chickening out. Write him a letter explaining everything and then arrange to see him and give him the letter. Patiently wait while we reads it and watch the color and life drain from his face. After a few minutes his speech will return and in a couple days after its sunk in you two will be able to have an intelligent conversation on how you are going to make it work

There is NO WAY to "lighten the blow", and trying to make a joke out of it is NOT the way to tell him. Obviously you were too immature to have sex to begin with...because you are proving to be too immature to be pregnant.
