I was told to avoid nuts while I was pregnant but now my son has been born I'm dying for pistachios. I know you shouldn't feed nuts to kids under 4 but is it ok for me to have them, even if I'm breastfeeding?

The biggest concern is usually peanuts. I eat/have eaten nuts while breastfeeding both of my kids-no allergies! Part of the allergy thing is related to genetics, so if you and his daddy don't have nut allergies you should be ok.

I doubt it it's unusual and un heard of@ least i haven't heard of it otherwise u should ask your Dr.even though i don't think it is.Unless your allergies have increased.See when i hit the 20 mark i found out my allergies have increased.I was allergic 2 dust now I'm allergic to pollen and some food allergies as well so go get examined or u can eat them and find out the hard way.

I think so, but ask your dr just to be sure.

I ate nuts while pregnant and nothing happened to any of my kids. I have 7yr old, 4yr old, and 2mo old.
