People in this region still die today because of birth defects. So the total is impossible to tell. Hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions.

Nearly 100,000 in Hiroshima and 60,000 in Nagasaki (Hiroshima was, on purpose, a large bomb).
However, over the years, and mainly due to exposure to radiation, figures vary as to number of further deaths - add another 100,000 to each one and you'll be about right.

All three answers aren't correct.
I this disaster ere killed 200000 people.In Hirosima-140000.
I have just learned it in history lesson
