The most dramatic tennis sequence in any film occurs toward the climax of Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train (1951), where Farley Granger has to win his match before pursuing Robert Walker to the amusement park where Granger's wife was murdered.

If you don't mind watching films from the black and white era, you may like "Hard, Fast and Beautiful" (1951). It's about an ultra-ambitious mother who pushes her tennis-pro daughter to the farthest limits. Pretty good, I think....

Wimbledon, with Kirsten Dunst. I haven't seen it but its supposed to be alright.
