My boyfriend and I had sex on one of the last few days of my period right before I started taking my birth control again. We were unprotected and I'm a very paranoid person about pregnancy so I'm not sure if it is just me or if I truly am pregnant. I have been very moody lately, extremely tired and my breast have been sore. Am I paranoid or pregnant?

Its hard to tell. Pure paranoid thoughts can make u more edgy than normal and contribute to the moodiness especially if you are worrying about it all the time. Being pregnant when u don't plan on it is hard but it is far from the end of the world. You have many many options my dear. There is the raising the baby yourself, having family help, putting the baby up for adoption(they will help with the medical and living expenses if you can't work while u are pregnant fyi), or the forbidden abortion option which i don't know anything about but ur probably not interested anyways.

The last few days of your period are the most infertile time for your body but freaky things still happen. I think it is a 1 in 100,000th of a possibility. Think about it though. All that fluid that is used to generate a baby is being flushed out to make way for fresh materials to conceive with. The last few days all of it is mostly gone and your body is just flushing out the finishing touches. So more than likely you are not pregnant and just paranoid. I don't know how long it has been but right before you are suppose to have your next period first thing in the morning do a pregnancy test. Take two one that day and one the next day. Follow directions carefully it is going to read negative and your going to be fine. Sometimes my birth control causes my breasts to be sore. When i first switched over it did that to me for months and then I slept so much. Once my body got use to it i was fine. Except now I am gaining weight....grrrr..anyway good luck girlie.

YOU MIGHT BE PREGNANT!. WOMAN BECOME FERTILE FOR 3 OR 4 DAYS 12 OR 13 DAYS AFTER HER PERIOD AND SPERM CAN LAST IN YOUR SYSTEM FOR UP TO 7 DAYS. YOU STILL MIGHT BE CAPABLE OF HAVING A PERIOD AND BEING PREGNANT AT THE SAME TIME.

the eggs drop before you are have your period, unless all of your eggs did not exit out of your body before you and your boyfriend hooked up then you are not pregnant. If you are really worried about it then go to the doctor. They can put your mind at ease.

you need to wait a month then take a pregnancy test. it takes a couple of weeks. dont mistake anxiety for pregnancy. if you have morning sickness the i would definetly be concerned.but don't take it to early or you make get a false negative. take a slow deep breath. :) it will be okay. just please... don't take it out on the baby if you are. you will regret later:) i'm sure it will be fine.good luck !

I doubt very much that you're pregnant. The pill covers this week. You would not be fertile that day anyway.
