After I reached Level 3, although I was never only in it for the points from the start. I guess it depends on how competitive you are...

The level you have to reach to realise the points don't matter is that of enlightenment.
As you are a troll and a stalker you will never realise it. Looking at your profile it's obvious that you are point gaming with Hutchie, Robin and Smarty Slacks. I believe this is the secret that Pat C is referring to.
Given that this is your third account the first two having been suspended (for posting adult content and harassment amongst others) around the 4000 point mark and the fact that you frequently vote your own dumb answers best with your multiple accounts (another Tyler Durden, Patrick Bateman and D.F., my clone no less) I would say you are so far removed from enlightenment that even when you reach level 7 (in a remarkably short space of time too) you will still not realise it.
So in short no level, level 5 (popular belief) or never.

Level 6. You finally get 10.000 Pt's.Then you find out you need 25000 to get to level 7.You see people that are at 7, get over 4000 Pt's. in a week, How the hello do they get that? If you don't know the secret, you will be laboring for the major part of your life to get there.

Well I don't think that's happened to me yet.
I recently hit level 6 and all I can think of is hitting level 7. I need 1000's of points to get there, but that doesn't seem to be deterring me.
I guess I'm a sad specimen of human life. Either that or a Y!A addict.....

Well it must be my OCD cause I thought I would be happy when I reached level 5 but here I am desperate for level 6....

level 5. level 6 seems so distant that it makes lttle sense to "rush" toward it. i can answer at leisure now, although i admit, it's 5 am and i should have gone to bed 2 hours ago. 6 am comes awfully early!
