When you are scared half to death the first time, that would leave you with half your life force. When you are scared half to death the second time, it would take half of that remaining life force - or a quarter of the original. So the third time you would take half of that which would leave you with just one eighth of your original life force. In theory you could be scared to death an infinite number of times and never run out of life force.

My answer was going to be that "technically you are dead" but I read Justin H's answer and he is spot on. So you really have nothing to worry about-----unless, of course, you were scared half to death twice at the same time then it would siesta time for you.

scared 1/2 to death, 1/2 remains. scared 1/2 to death again.. 1/2x1/2= 1/4, and the next 1/8 etc., etc. at some point i believe life would be insustainable.

You probably increase your susceptibiility to be scared half to death 3, 4, 5 ..... n times. In other words, you condition youself to be scared half to death and being scared become easier and easier, and more and more likely, with lower and lower stimuli thresholds.
