Yeah it has spoiled people but young people need to talk to people just as much as anybody else, but i think too many people spend too much time on them

Spoiled? Sure. You get used to technology, and come to expect it, and miss it when it's unavailable. We're pretty used to being able to travel 50 miles in an hour, to call someone across the country, to post answers on internet sites.

My sister is 14, and has a mobile phone, like (I believe) the majority of her classmates. But that means that she has one more way to get out of a dangerous situation, because a phone is always literally within arm's reach. And that's a deterrent to attackers of young and old, because the likelihood that no one in a group of people has a cell phone is almost infintesimal.

Do they need mobile phones? No. But a lot of people have decided that it's worth the money.

Yes I believe so. I didn't get a mobile til I was 17 and tha was last year. I don't think people under 15 should get one either. All they do is jack up the bill by texting and calling their friends.
