Every time I try to play Socom online or browse the internet on my psp it finds the connection but it always says obtaining ip address timed out. This just recently started happening to me and i need help!!!!!!!!!!

Should i manually type in the ip address?

I have gone closer to the router about 5 inches away from it and it doesn't find the ip address.The internet connection on my laptop is working perfectly which uses the same router.

The problem is that you must be too far away from the router. Just go a little close to it or make the PSP search for IP addresses.

The best way wld be to contact ur network administartor... (internet company) they might be able to help (:

that's strange, the same thing was happening to me. i thought my psp1000 was finally calling it quits on me.
