most of us know about big bang. but why it happened from zero without any reason? or any reason, what is it? if we think something ( may be God) from outside forced to happened it.........

can we reach in a acceptable solution?

On the same note, where did God come from. After all everything has to start someone even if you are the Almighty.

I think this is one of those questions that is beyond human capabilities and because we can't yet prove either way yet there is no right or wrong answer.

The answer is we don't know and probably never will.

You can't rewind the clock to a "time" before time existed. Observation of this particular phenomenon is not possible.

I can't recommend Simon Singh's excellent book "The Big Bang" enough to anyone with more than a passing interest in this. It's one of the best popular science books I've ever read and makes (just about) everything clear.

I think we have to accept that there are somethings that we can never find out, and this is probably one of them.

Perhaps there is a cyclic period to what we know as our universe. Perhaps there is a yet unknown force or interaction between matter as we know it and the theorized 'dark matter' that will eventually slow the expansion of our universe and cause the universe to contract to a point. At this point and time another Big Bang will occur and the cycle will start again.

One theory I like is that the big bang is the white hole at the other end of a black hole in a different universe.

The big bang is the creation of the black hole seen from the inside and the expansion is simply the opposite of the black hole's contraction.

In this model, black holes in our universe are big bangs in other universes - our universe is the parent, the other universe is the child and the black hole is the umbilical cord metaphorically speaking.

edit - You are looking for a definite point in three dimensional space. The universe isn't as simple as three spacial dimensions.

When you ask 'where' its like asking 'where' is the beginning of a ring - their isn't one, its a closed loop that is finite in length yet has no boundary - it has no beginning or end in terms of a point on the line.

The fundies will *never* accept reason, it's not in their nature.
You are talking about people who honestly believe that the Universe was magicked into existance exactly as described in Genesis, in one week from 11th to 18th Nov. 4004 BC.
You simply can't reason with that.
The Catholics and Anglicans have a more rational belief system but they aren't the problem.

Yes, god probably created the universe and the big bang. Then how can it be mathematically explained? Let us assume there is a two dimensional world. Then the inhabitants of that world will be all two dimentional objects example circles, triangles lines etc. So, the two dimensional world will look like a plane. Now, pass a three dimensional rough object through the two densional world. What will be the feelings of its inhabitants? They will only be able to see some irregular polygons which is nothing but planes of intersection of the three dimensional object and the two dimensional plane and will not be surprised to see them at all as they have already seen such irregular polygons before! So, compare God with the three dimensional object it is every where in a 2d world but its poor inhabitants could only see 2d objects and assume it as one of them. Apply the same concept in our universe taking god as a four / five or infinite dimensional body, but as we r the inhabitants of a 3d world we can only see our 3d counterparts. So, every thing is created by God rather every thing is god himself! we the poor people give different attributes by making different conclusions as we see. Exactly the way the 2d world inhabitants thought a 3d object as 2d, we can never imagine an object of higher dimension in our 3d world. So, every thing is our thought. According to hindu philosophy god is every where and there exist many universes. This also can be explaied as : Imagine many parallel 2d worlds and i.e. parallel planes and all are intersected by an irregular 3d polygon. Depending on its plane of intersection it will appear to be different in different 2d worlds. similarly god is everywhere what we see is a part of him and imagine something else. You probably need a "guru" to explain the finer aspects. Regarding big bang: nobody has seen the big bang, it is a mere hypothesis based on the expansion of the universe. Probably god wanted the world to start this way.

Big bang is only a theory. It has no proof. If proved it will become law.Till such time you find out a more convincing explanation or "NEW THEORY" big bang will be an acceptable explanation.
Perhaps we will never be able to find out the truth.

Oh, there are scientific ideas out there... M-theory (branch of string theory) states that the collision of two cosmic membranes could generate enough energy to start the "bang", but as of now... there isn't a one convincing answer.

God caused the Big Bang?
right oh!
that's the best 1 i've heard lately.
when people realise that life here on Earth is down 2 ONLY 1 SUPERIOR Being & the Big Bang has no proof in the Bible.

solutions?
i'm not sure this will ever end with every1 being happy.

Its only a theory. Even the so called 'nothing' is actually something in the equation because without it theres no (((bang))).

When we uncover the secret of death then we would have moved one step closer to explain our origin and destination.
