Good Question! Superglue has enough moisture inside it, that when it is contained in a closed tube it doesent dry out. If you were to leave the tube open, it would eventually lose the moisture part of the compound and dehydrate! Thus losing all of its moisture and drying out!

Because the superglue's tube is moisture proof.
Note: Superglue does not set when it’s exposed to oxygen, but instead it sets when it's exposed to moisture.

it will if you leave the top off it, the glue needs air to cause a chemical reaction in the glue and for it to set.
