Very good question. You see, a human brain is a marvel of technology, which gives optimum performance without needing an upgrade, doesnt burn out, is compatible with all user types, has unlimited capacity & most importantly works both as a processor and a hard disk utilising available resources for power. Even if you learn all the languages & all the information available, you will not have to 'erase' or 'forget' something from your memory to store the fresh information. This shows that we cannot compare our brain to a hard-drive which has limited capacity to store information. Our brain has unlimited capacity to process, store & retrieve information throughout its life.

Well, think about it. We humans have so much brain power. I mean, think of how many things we remember and learn. All the colors, letters, numbers, etc. And, the vivid memories. We can't even closely achieve the resolution and processing power of even some of our most simple thoughts. And on top of that, we know how to count, we know how to speak, think, and remember, which also would take up quite a bit of space. And even on top of that, we can remember things and make those recollections in usually the blink of an eye, where a computer might take 10 times that.

Can I give you a figure? No, but there's probably someone here smarter than me who can. I hope this helps. (P.S. Doesn't it feel good to be one of the smartest computers on the planet? :P)

that's a very interesting question!
I believe we have the ability to store all information from everything that we see, hear, touch.

I think the next question should be ....how can we access that information so easily like a computer w/out it getting corrupt(forgetting certain things)

Its amazing what you can remember if you try real hard and sometimes real long, but it will come to you.

in terms of gigs on a computer, it is limited in gigs by the size of the computer. our minds have no limits. so we cant put a size limit or capacity limit on it either. good question though
