Can someone tell me why when I put this code on a site, only the code shows, and not the image?

The image is hosted on PhotoBucket. I use it exactly as below. Am I missing something?

First I try it this way:

but still, only the code shows on the page.

You need the img command:


(don't forget the http://www. at the beginning of your image link)

To place an image in a website in either HTML or XHTML use the tag. You need to define the src attribute with the location of the image.

It should look something along the lines of:
