By controlling vehicular pollution, residents lead a better quality of life. Pollution causes many health problems such as respiratory disease. Pollution also can have a negative impact on tourism.

So you, your children and other future generations can have somewhere to live because with the release of poisons into the atmosphere, we are slowly suffocating ourselves because we are choking our oxygen supply.
The longer it continues the more illnesses each generation will endure and the shorter their lifespan will be until the atmosphere will not be able to sustain life at all.
