There are no coup's like in Oakwood, Makati. There are no frequent kidnappings like in Binondo (Ms. Teresita Ang-See will give you the details). There are no smog (take an airplane and see the smog floating around Manila). There are no bombings concentrated in one area (Valentines bombing in Makati, SuperFerry, LRT Rizal Day bombing, should I continue?). There are no constant violent rallies by communist militants who disrupts traffic. There are no heavy traffics. Living standards is affordable.

Yes there are problems in Mindanao but aren't there problems in Luzon with communists insurgents? with bomb threats in Manila? Nobody cares about us here. Everyone thinks we are the scum of the country that should not be given a second glance. Government refused to develop Mindanao since the 1950's because Tagalogs are plain bigots. They consider Muslims, indigenous tribes and even Christians in Mindanao as "second class citizens" or similar to American Blacks. Yes bigotry is alive and well in the Philippines. We are the butt of all jokes. Do you expect people in Mindanao to remain calm when they are being discriminated upon? This is the very reason why Mindanao wants to break away from the Philippines

It's a place where Christians & Muslims live harmoniously. Only people from other parts of the Philippines think that those two groups in Mindanao are ready to kill each other! They're definitely wrong! Christians & Muslims in Mindanao have great respect for each other's beliefs...

I think: Cagayan de Oro, Butuan, Iligan, Davao, and Zamboanga when you say "Mindanao, Philippines."

The problem with you ignoramus Filipinos, you do not think anything good about Mindanao. We Mindanaoans supply 50% of your food, we fish but you do not eat fish, so we export them. We grow fruits, yet you dislike our best and exotic fruit, durian, so we export our mangoes, pineapple, banana, pomelo.
Majority of the people here are Roman Catholics, not muslims.
You poor, idiot Filipinos in Manila must realise that!
