C° = 5/9(F° - 32)
If you are talking about temperature conversion, the formula is above. If you have a recipe which specifies Fahrenheit degrees and your oven has a Celsius thermometer built into it, just plug the Fahrenheit temperature into the formula. First subtract 32° from the Fahrenheit temperature. Then multiply that result by 5, and finally divide the second result by 9. That will give you the equivalent Celsius temperature.

to go from F to C
1. Subtract 32
2. Multiply by 5
3. Divide by 9
To go from C to F
1. Multiply by 9
2. Divide by 5
3. Add 32
If you want to check this keep in mind that the boiling point of water is 212 F and 100 C. If you do all of the steps I listed above you should be able to check your work by converting 212 F to C or the other way around.

Oven? What is with "Oven"? C is C and F is F and the conversion should be the same for ovens, toasters, everything.
