the more you have sex with someone, the more emotionally attached you become. you don't have sex with just anyone do you? exactly! so even if you aren't in love with him, he IS a special person to you. and anyone you willingly spend time with, you will care about them more as you keep seeing each other.
also getting off makes you happy. it's a happy experience that you're sharing with someone. you're going to care more about a person if you keep having good experiences with them (doesn't have to be sex).. it may not be a memory you can share with people, but it's there.

I've heard that a woman does get emotionally attached to a bloke once she sleeps with him, a bloke doesn't have the same emotional attachment. He can just walk away....

it is normal. it's because, as women, we connect sex with emotions and feelings for the person. it's a very normal thing. the best sex is when two people are in love. and i don't mean that like everyone else means it. there is more of a connection than just two strangers bumping and grinding for the thrill. sex with emotions is more gratifying.
