I've always heard that you shouldn't feed children egg yolk until they're one.....but it's because of the small risk of allergic reaction. A couple other foods they suggest waiting on are peanut butter and strawberries. Your daughter being 9 months old will probably be fine, just remember the rule about starting new foods. When you give her eggs for the first time, be sure not to give her anything else that would be new to her diet for a couple days. That way, in the event of an allergic reaction, you'll have a much better idea of what caused it. One last tip: at 9 months old, I'm sure she delights in feeding herself. If you cut the scrambled eggs into small "squares" it will be easier for her to pick them up and eat. If the egg is in pieces that are too small, she'll make a mess.
Good luck!

There is nothing wrong with giving your baby scrambled eggs. I babysit all kinds of kids and I notice that all the little ones from 8 months and up love eggs. So no harm in it. :)

Surely you can. Make them soft scrambled and do not put any seasoning on them. They will be a good source of protein for your daughter.

If she is already eating "big people food" like cheerios, potatoes, etc., I would say yes, go for it. She would probably enjoy the eggs. Take care.

Babies can have egg yolk, but they cannot have the egg white until they are one year old.
