if so, did you leave at the end?

I recently broke up with someone because I felt we had no future together. The relationship was weighing me down and that zapped alot of my energy. I could not see the point of staying in a relationship that I was not happy with. If your not happy, get out. It's your life and you need to be happy.

Yes. Furthermore it is humanly important, corroborative, to be in a relationship with somebody, to be in relationships with others, even if that relationship may not end up in a more concrete and perennial or just somewhat durable love-story and familial development.

Yes, at the end, more or less dramatically, but never tragically, I left, or was left, or the relationship just evaporated, or it gave rise to an attitude of more or less lasting resentment, or it just went on as a warm friendship ...

because relationships are different as people may be different, and therefore one never knows how a relationship may develop.

But it is generally good to have been in some relationship where we anyway gave feelings to each other, we gave something to each other, we may have taught something good to each other, and we may have prevalently good memories about that relationship, and we sooner or later may really think back to it and be ... happy that we had it, and nostalgic about it. Good luck!

I lived with a girl for 5 years. We got along great, no fights ever and our parents got along too. It was like there was something missing I don't know what. I just let the relationship run it's coarse until the time came and it became a disscussion. We parted on good terms and everything was fine.

Yes I was and the first time, as soon as I realized we had absolutely no future together, I ended it. However, it wasn't that simple --- he didn't give up that easily -- in fact, it's been 4 yrs. now and he STILL comes around and keeps in touch with my mother as to my status. The next time I found myself in a relationship I knew wasn't going to be forever (he told me from the first time he met me that I was out of his league .,..) he just one day was so passionate and couldn't tell me enough how much he loved me and then that was it --- I never heard from him again -- he wouldn't take my phone calls --- nothing. Weird, huh?

No. I did not leave at first. I try ed to work it out by first telling him how I felt and then tell him what he needed to do for it to work out. that he going to have to start treating me with repeated, like some T.L.C. I told him that he was going to have to get a better paying job and if could not do that for me then he was out.
