Pie is a constant. Its value is 3.14 or 22/7. It actually is the ratio of the circumference of the circle to its radius (actually diameter which is double the radius). no matter what the size of the circle this ratio is constant.

I'm not sure. The correct spelling is, pi. I think it is the circumfrance of a circle divided by its diameter. It is a common number for all circles. No matter how large or small the circle is, circumfrance of that circle divided by its diameter, equals pi. It is also irrational, meaning there is no end to the number. 3.1415926 ...
