I mean Tim Duncan can, Kevin Garnett can, Norwiski does...all these are big guys just like him. Why not him? Any ideas?

Some guys just have limitations on their shooting range. Shaq has always been a guy who just hangs around the basket and takes an entry pass or makes a put-back. There are plenty of big guys who can shoot from range, he just happens to be one of the majority who can't. I do remember him taking a 3 pointer once and making it, but it was pretty much a one in a million shot. Now, the better question is why can't Shaq shoot a foul shot... that's something that can actually be worked on.

Shaq was always a low post player, and those of you that say he has no moves didnt watch him 10 to 15 years ago, Tim can but doesnt shoot the 3 well and you should know Tim is one of the worst free throw shooters in the league, especially in the clutch...Nowitski has always had range but most all european players do, why? because they dont play in traditional positions like we do here and have to play all over the floor...now I suppose you think a guy 5'5 should play center too, get a clue...

you just mentioned power forwards
And centers dont shoot threes because they are in the NBA to rebound and make low post moves, they dont even practice long range shots, simply because they have better players that are specifically in the game to shoot three pointers

Shaq is old and doesn't have much at all now. He is always injured and he very slow he pretty much has a time getting a layup or a dunk he to slow and old now. Shaq had better days before in the NBA.

shaq isn't paid to shoot three point shots. that what wade is there for he is a center not a point guard. his job is to be in the paint and crash the boards all those players you just named are guards not centers if shaq is shotting threes he's messed up the play lol
but really shaq needs to sink his free throws before u worry about his threes don't u think lol

Shaq can't even hit a free throw.What the hell makes you think he could hit a 3-pointer.His only skill is that he's an ogre.If he was 6'5 or 6'6,do you honestly believe he would be in the NBA ? Of course not.

His hands are too big ..he cant even hit free throws plus hes an inside guy he aint paid to shoot threes
