You will actually get back more money as you are below the poverty line. You will be entitled to an Earned Income Credit from the Federal government as well as refund of all the taxes that you paid. Go to IRS.GOV and you can e file from there, it's really easy and you dont have to pay anybody.

You will probably get back all that was withheld. Find a friend or neighbor that has turbo tax and use their copy. Or form 1040EZ sounds like it should work for you, the instructions are pretty simple, and if you do make a mistake, the IRS wil correct it without penalty.

You'll pretty much get back most of what you paid in federal taxes. You don't need to pay a tax guy. Turbo tax will do it for cheap and it's really easy to do.

You can e-file through the IRS for free. Go to http://www.irs.gov and click on the Free E-File link on the left side of the page.

You only need to file a return if income taxes were withheld from your pay and you want to get a refund of that withheld tax.

Is all of your income on a W-2? As long as you don't have a 1099. it should be easy enough that you don't need a paid preparer or purchased software. Download form 1040EZ and its instructions from irs.gov and fill it out.

You should get back whatever was withheld for federal income tax.

Go to the post office and get a 1040 ez tax form and the 1049 ex tax book. Then do it yourself. It is real simple. You will recieve all your taxes back, but READ the instructions back. They have a telephone rebate you can get back, BUT you have to fill out the 1040 form. So pick up a 1040 tax form and the book. Then like me I pick one of EVERYTHING. I am glad I did. I did not know about the telephone rebate. I get my money back but will file soon.

You can fill it out yourself. It is easy.

With the W2 you can call the IRS, they will help you through the tax thing free of charge. With your income you may get back all that was taken out of your pay.

TAX Depend from country to country

Here in Canada you don't make 20 000$ you don't pay tax.

I think it's the same in your country

Good Luck!

You don't have to file your taxes because you made so little. If you had made at least $5500, you would qualify for a credit that will award you up to $450 from the government because you made so little.
