for example, if a dude is into dudes who are typically masculine. doesnt that kinda mean that he is generally attracted to masculine things. thus, would make him more masculine. see where if a dude was into females. doesnt that kinda make him feminine in a sense that he is emotionally attracted to someone who is feminine. i dont know, maybe im stupid. it was just a thought, you may disagree. i just want to hear your opinions

Well, I can't speak for the whole gay community, but as for myself, I am masculine and I am particularly drawn to masculine guys. I don't mean macho stupid masculine, like your average redneck (that isn't masculine really, it's just insecure macho stupidity). I have always said that it takes a real man to have the guts to make love to another man. Heck, most heterosexual guys have a hard time just demonstrating ANY love to another guy, let alone MAKE love to one!

No not really, However contrary to common perception Homosexuality whether it be male or female does tend to actually emphasise the gender traits of the persons involved. By the way you are not being stupid in asking that question, it is a well thought out and intellectial one.

interesting question, as you know males are not always masculine, and females not always feminine. But guys will always be attracted to male company, since that's where we compete and find our status. females will always do the same, in a different way. One species, but the difference between the sexes will always be there. P.S. guys in monogamous heterosexual relationships experience a decrease in their sperm count. They haven't done this study in monogamous homosexual relationships yet. If there are any.

"Homosexuality whether it be male or female does tend to actually emphasise the gender traits of the persons involved." What a crock of shitte.

If anything, it tends to emphasize androgeny. Look at photos of a mixed group of gays and lesbians. Note how many of the women look like the men and vice vera. It's eerie.

I think it's a matter of preference. Some guys like feminine guys, while others may prefer more butch and manly men.
