It hasn't done anything. the stats of getting hurt by a terrorist attack, at least here in the USA is about the same as getting hit by a meteor. Not very likely. and i really don't know if it has anything to do with them or not. i really don't trust either one to be perfectly honest.

overall... lessened.

No successful terror attacks in the US since 9/11/01.

Plenty of attacks that got planned and squashed.

As for Britain... they weren't as successful in squashing the terrorists. But they did prevent a lot of them.

There is better info sharing and the terrorists are tied up fighting in Iraq.

To me its a good thing that the terrorists are busy in Iraq. Let them ruin their own country while we kill them over there. There's that many fewer of them to even try to bother us over here.

The threat of Irish terrorism has eased under Blair.

The thread of Islamic Fundamentalist terrorism hasn't changed and won't until something is done about Israel/Palestine. Which, ironically, was what Blair recognised when he supported the USA over Iraq.

Worse.... MUCH worse.

And that's not even counting the acts of terrorism ACTUALLY CARRIED OUT by Bush, Blair and friends.
