do wasps die after a day? one went in my room around 1:30pm its now 3:45 am do you think its dead it was kind of a chilly day

Wasps sleep at night. It won't be dead but it will be vulnerable. They like to sleep on their nest, so there is a good chance that it tried to leave the way it came in.

wasps live for many months
we got lots of wasp nests on the banana leaves
they are busy with that for months
and if you burry wasps they just dig themselves out
the best way to get rid of them is by smoke
