How do Premiership Clubs get back the investment of the players they buy? I reason that their stadiums are already capacity-full, so there's no thinking that extra spectators will be obtained from fielding a new star. How do they do it? Thanx

Like the answers before - merchandise, transfer fees for players. Plus television rights since EPL is watched in countries all over the world. Plus their image rights for their popular players.

The Club Shop. They will have the new signings name on the back of shirts and other stuff in the club shop.
And the value of the player could be higher than when he signed so when you sell him you will make a profit

they sell merchandise of the club, like : footballs, jerseys, shoes which the star wears, keychains, etc.........
