Absolutely not! I have had dangerously heavy periods since I was 13 yrs old. I am 36 now. When I was 27 I gave birth to twin boys and when I was 29 I gave birth to twin boy and girl. I ovulate from both ovaries so they gave me a 99% chance of having twins or more every time. I'm not having anymore.LOL. But maybe the heavy periods are from shedding alot of extra eggs. You never know. Good luck to you. Don't worry too much. These doctors are getting more brilliant every day. I have at least 3 fibroids that are benign and have had them since way before the births of my children. You do need to get the heavy periods checked out but it does not mean that you cannot conceive and carry a child.

Mine and my mom's were always very heavy and violent (I ended up in the hospital 2ce due to cramps) and we both got pregnant without trying. (my mom had two oops children and I have one so far). I don't think your period flow has anything to do with how fertile you are. I don't know what kind of help you are asking for.

You need to get checked for fibroid i suffered with extensive cycles and became severely anemic. if you are not satisfied with your gynecologists it is your right to seek a second opinion. Make sure that you are given a thorough test for fibroid, there is a test that involves a full uterus sonogram scope. Good Luck.
