The slide in public life started immediately after Independence as is evident from Gandhi's reactions to some of the utterances and the conduct some Congress leaders. Things took a dramatic turn for the worse, after advent of Indira Gandhi.

Until you have a fair delivery system for supplies and clean water to all of your citizens, how can you ever hope to get rid of the corruption? When so many people are still starving, homeless, thirsty, not even getting the basic needs of their lives fulfilled, how can they worry about corruption and peace when they cannot even secure their own survival? Until the people of India come together to address the needs of their poor and the cruelties that are being perpetrated upon those poor in your streets, cities, and in villages and provinces, nothing will be accomplished. Until the Brahmin learn that every life is equal and valuable and the least must be brought up to eat with the greatest, nothing will be accomplished. Until all levels of your society can come to the table and be treated as one, nothing will be accomplished.

Corruption in India is too deeply entrenched and pervasive. Demographic factors exist within municipalities that lead to or encourage corruption within local governments.

Demographic factors such as human population statistics, changes, and trends including personal characteristics of humans like population size, migration, age, gender, social class, level of education, race, religion, occupation, and family status may be contributary to the problem. Because there are many factors that can lead to corruption in local government it is hard to study corruption patterns empirically, but improved research strategies and information sources have made such studies better.

Question now: IS THERE A POLITICAL WILL OR COMMITMENT BY THE COUNTRY'S LEADERS TO TACKLE THE PROBLEM?

Everyone of us is responsible to some extent .

There will be delays in our activities for some time but in a shorter period the things will improve and easen out.

Government should reduce taxes in such a way that everyone willingly and correctly pays all taxes.

All registration charges and stamp duties should be reduced to international standards so that black money transactions can be greatly reduced.

Introduce Social security number system for every one and all transactions shd find entry in the individuals records.

No property transaction should be allowed beyond Government approved values and all sales/ purchases of properties should be routed through Government authorities to have control on prices of the properties and blackmoney.

All Government agencies should be allowed to function independantly.

All strikes, bandhs, protests, rallys shd be totally stopped for say 25 years.

No vote bank policy.

No division among people based on caste, religion, region. language, minorities, SC/ST/ BC/MBC etc.
Only distinction should be base on those affordable or non affordable.

All people who are non affordable should be extended all facilities in every field and by all means free of cost by the Government.

No question of waiver of interest or principal for farmers or anybody. This is nothing but squandering public tax money just to satisfy a few people. In law all are equal.
No robbing of Peter to pay Paul

Implement uniform grading of salary at all establishments whether in software or banking or government departments or any private employments.Increase the salary levels for lower level staff on a higher proportion.

and straight forward behaviour otherwise face severe punishment.

Publish every week progress report on all projects / schemes/ operations either small or big so that public will know instantaneously what is happening to their money and how and why delays have been caused and who is responsible for such delays. This should happen from the Government suo motto and without waiting for somebody to call for details.India is more richer than we think and these are not impossible.

Create more employment and offices / courts/ registration offices / police stations/ educational institutions / required Government offices etc to speed up things.
Computrise all systems and bring the 100% E -governance at the earliest.

Periodically publish details how every rupee collected as taxes is being spent by the Government.

No special treatment for anybody.

In infrastructure development matters, all court cases should be cleared within 3 months including compensation and suitable relocation in a justified manner.

Nation First- Self Next

Make incredible India really incredible.

Make education free at all levels for everyone.
Government has a lot of money. If not sufficient, take away huge profits earned by big companies which earn every quarter 1000 crores or so or more.
All jobs available either Governmental or private should be without fail should be published in newspapers and websites of Government and it should be free of cost for employers to register their requirement and also inform the status of filling those posts. The sleeping employment exchanges should be made to gear up to meet this requirement.
.

No private hospitals should be allowed to function and sufficient , proper , well facilitated medical hospital facility should be made available free of cost to everyone of the public by the Government.

If possible Government should think of taking away the wealth of people beyond certain limit and distribute the same to have nots.

Government should take care of invalids, old people , destitutes etc.

Overall Government should think only about the welfare of the people.
Free power supply to the farmers everywhere.
