i use a wix filter in my cars....and i prefer amsoil myself...
but its up to personal preferences....

Use a true synthetic oil, such as Amsoil or Mobil-1. You'll have to check the filters: get the one that filters out the smallest particles. A 20-micron is a good one, 40-microns is not. Use an Engine Sentry in your filter to take filtering down to sub-1-micron using magnetic oil filtration.

I have always used castrol oil and fram oil filters and lately add a quart
of lucas oil stabilizer

I have found
"Valvoline High Mileage" works very good and i use
"Fram heavy duty" oil Filters...
