I worked with guy from Tennessee (you would swear he was West Virginian) who married a West Virginian then divorced her then married her West Virginian sister. He has kids with both. So yes, they are inbred.

I'm from West Virginia and I even agree with you guys....lol....well in a way. Sometimes it makes me mad because of the stereotype. I don't want people thinking ill of me. Where I live, people seem normal. But going farther down south, you definitely run into that kind of thing. It sucks because I want to be mad at people for making fun of West Virginians, but how can I? Some of them give us a bad name. But do keep in mind, we're not all like that!!

To tell you the truth, yeah. My dad's from West Virginia, and don't get me wrong--I love him to death. But his relatives, which also happen to be mine, are insanely annoying. It's crazy.

My mom always told me about how when she went to visit my dad's family, dad went out drinking all night, and when he got home at 3 in the morning, my grandma woke mom up and told her that my dad was home and to make him dinner. My mom thought this was insane and told her he can make his own dinner if he's going to miss the one she cooked!

I also have one aunt, who writes down EVERY recipe she sees on TV... But she never even leaves the chair, at all! She's never even cooked a meal in her life! What the heck!? She lives at my grandma's house, but she's got a house with like 50 cats, seriously! My uncle lives with them, too--and for some reason, my uncle refuses to call me by my name! He pronounces it wrong, and has my entire life! My name is Tara (rhymes with Sara), but he calls me Tar-uh, like tar they put on the road and stuff.

Weeeeeird.
