i try to create a dvd movie with divx avi but my burner ask for a decoder?

If you are trying to copy a DVD (from a store, etc.) your best bet is the freeware program DVDShrink. It automatically removes any encryption/protection, as well as shrinking the movie to fit onto a normal DVD-R disc.

you need to convert the divx avi into a format that your burner can understand
