If you have a cd-rw, you can't burn any type of DVD. Most cd players can only read audio cds, but a DVD (movie) player might be able to read a burned DVD. If you are trying to get a lot of music on a single disc, try burning the music as mp3 files on a cd-r. Newer cd-players made in the last few years can read mp3 cds.

No, you have to have a DVD burner in order to burn DVD's . They will NOT play on a standard car CD player as DVD's are not readable by a regular CD player. You'll need a DVD receiver instead of CD in your car in order for it to read DVD's.

a standard cd-recordable 700 megabytes of data space will fit roughly 500-750 songs depending on the encoder used and the bit rate of the recorded file(s). and a standard cd player that is abuot $20 to $35 and up in most stores will play mp3 files on a burned disk but as the guy above me *points up at the prevoius post*
If you do not have a DVD-R/W drive you cannot burn to a DVD-recordable blank disk sorry.
