At 7 weeks it is not longer a sperm or even an embryo, it is a fetus. You might look at some pergnancy sites to see their development. Once the sperm is fertilized an embryo develops, then a few weeks later a fetus. . You are not killing the sperm.

Here is an article from babycenter that will tell you where the fetus is developmentally. It explains better than I can.

Your baby still appears to have a small tail (actually, it's an extension of his tailbone), which will disappear in the next few weeks. But that's the only thing getting smaller. Now almost half an inch long — roughly the size of a raspberry — he has elbow joints and distinct, slightly webbed fingers and toes. In his oversized head, both hemispheres of his brain are developing. His teeth and the inside of his mouth are forming, and his ears continue to develop. Eyelid folds partially cover his tiny peepers, which already have some color, and the tip of that nose you'll be tweaking someday is emerging. His skin is paper-thin and his veins are clearly visible.

Your little one also has an appendix and a pancreas, which will eventually produce the hormone insulin to aid in digestion. His liver is busy producing red blood cells, and a loop of your baby's growing intestines is bulging into his umbilical cord, which now has distinct blood vessels to carry oxygen and nutrients to and from his tiny body. You can't feel his gyrations yet, but your baby is like a little jumping bean, moving in fits and starts around his watery home.

I hope this helps you and if you have any more questions or need any more sites to help you know where you are then I can give you them. It will show you what happens. The ultimate descision is yours. Also, if you go to babyzone you can read up on when the embryo becomes a fetus. Also the heartbeat forms early as well. This will educate you. The descision is ultimately up to you.

17 weeks pregnant with first.

It depends. After a few days the fertilized egg no longer is made up of stem cells. They start become specialized. Given that, it depends on what you think. you too are basically 50% sperm 50% egg as is any other person minus Jesus. In the bible it states that there is no life in the womb. In my humble opinion, if it can feel it is alive. This is your decision. Are you in an abusive relationship? Could you raise this child? Would delivering put your life at risk? Would the baby be born healthy? Most of all make sure you can live with your decision. Do not rule out adoption either because many couples would love to have a baby, but this your decision. You are in control of your own body. If you do have an abortion, don't do it again and use some sort of reliable contraception. Good luck with your decision

It is killing the baby. Killing the sperm, you would need to get in there a day or 2 after you have sex. Once the sperm reaches the egg, it starts creating the baby.

At 7 weeks, your baby is the size of a large blueberry or a small grape. It has already started to develop facial features and a tongue! The fingers and toes and even it's teeth have already started to form! The organs and nervous system are already working and the brain and heart have started to work together to pump it's blood around it's tiny body.

It is killing a baby. At the moment of conception, a new individual human life begins. Nothing else will be added to the tiny human being except time and nutrition, the same things that are added to all of us as we grown and mature. At just three weeks after conception, the baby's heart is already beating. By six weeks, the baby has tiny fingers and recordable brain waves. As soon as the sperm enters your egg and travels to your cervix, It is then an embryo. Everyone has decisions that they have to make and reasons for their decisions. I definitely do NOT judge people! Good Luck!!

Tough question

It will depend on who you ask.

At 7 weeks, it is a formed fetus. It has extremeties and is forming eyes, mouth and organs.

It wouldnt be a pregnancy, if it were just sperm.
